How much do your Video/DVD videos cost to produce?
  • We counsel our clients to invest no more than two times their actual speaking fee.  Remember Professional Speaking is the only business where you need no inventory, no business location and basically no investment other than your marketing materials.

What about updates?

  • Because of our state-of-the-art digital editing technology updates are reasonable and we archive all of your digitized footage so you never have to start from scratch.  It's like word processing only video.

How long should my demo be?

  • There is no clear-cut answer to that question.  At the outset, you have less than a minute to capture the attention of the economic buyer and survive the "cut".  When your demo is played to a committee, assuming you make the first cut, you'd better have enough quality material to outdistance your competition.

What's all this Interactive DVD demo talk I'm hearing?

  • An interactive DVD is the direction that most of your higher fee speakers are using.  Why, because it gives the economic buyer as chance to pick and choose what topics and venues they want to review.  It also allows longer clips which clearly show your expertise and speaking style.  Click here to see some examples.

Do I even need to send DVD's?

  • We highly recommend leveraging your website by including numerous speaking clips that are password protected but there will always be times when a committee will be making the decision to hire you and you don't want to be eliminated from competition.

Is VHS dead?

  • Not anymore dead than radio is.  There will always be a place for VHS demos.  We want our clients to have the competitive edge.

Of what value to me are studio "face-to-face" segments?

  • Often in a "demo showdown" the speaker with quality "face-to-face" segments will have an edge because the economic buyer has the opportunity to "meet" you and really understand what you can do for them on a personal level.  It's the next best thing to being in the board room at decision making time.

Who can I trust to shoot my next speaking engagement?
