Videographer Criteria

  1. Will they guarantee that what they shoot will be usable footage in their demo or not charge you?
  2. Will they shoot on broadcast quality equipment and provide you with DVD, Mini-DV, BetaSP or DVC-Pro tape?
  3. What lighting will they provide?
  4. Will their master camera person be mobile in order to capture several different angles during your presentation?
  5. Will you have a separate lavaliere microphone to insure a quality sound pickup?
  6. Will they have a quality cameraperson to encircle the room to capture dozens of usable audience reactions?
  7. Will they adjust the backdrop to enhance the finished look of your video or will they just "shoot it the way it looks"?
  8. Will they spread out the chairs in the audience to optimize the crowd or will they allow dozens of empty seats to appear in the shots?
  9. Will they push and pull the shots during your program to provide a variety of looks or will they just zoom in on your face and allow you to walk in and out of the picture?
  10. After the presentation will they professionally capture video endorsements for your demo and website of not only audience members but the meeting planner and other executives in attendance or will the just pack up, collect their check and leave?
